In 1976 Ken obtained his own California contractor’s license and began running San Diego Pools. Ken focuses on innovative construction projects, including zero edge pools and the use of natural stone. Ken hand-designs every project and has built over 3000 pools in the San Diego alone.Offering a level of service that is rare among contractors, Ken brings extensive experience, commitment, direct supervision, and unmatched quality to each and every job.
Josh Lawson started with San Diego Pools in 1996. He started off with pool service, worked his way up to project manager, and is now head of our Commercial Division. Josh is one of our top designers and skilled in both residential and commercial sides of the swimming pool industry.
Red Barrett was raised in the back of his parents pool Store in Corona Del Mar CA, and had his 1st pool route at the age of 14 that he did on his bike. Since then he has worked every aspect of the Swimming Pool Industry, form Service Manager and Route Manager to being a Sales Rep for Pool Manufacturing and a Rep for Pool Distribution. Red started designing and working as project manager for Pool construction for San Diego Pools in the Mid 1990s. After 50 years in the pool industry this guy literally lives for swimming pools!
Kenny King is the son of San Diego Pools Owner, Ken King. He is the youngest designer on the team, but has years of experience. Kenny started at San Diego Pools when is he was only 16. He started off digging trenches and has learned every part of the pool building process since then. Kenny brings a fresh, youthful enthusiasm to San Diego Pools.
Dan Cassese was born in New York. His family moved west in the eighties longing for the coast. He moved to San Diego in the nineties. For the last 20 years he has designed some of the most innovative pools and water features
Corey Greenwood started with San Diego Pools over 13 years ago and has experience in every phase of pool construction.
Enrique Acosta is originally from Northern California and moved to San Diego in 2007. He Graduated from Sacramento State with a Bachelors in Communications and emphasis in Digital Media.Enrique started with San Diego Pools in late 2013, but has worked through the industry. Se Habla Espanol!
Katie King-Acosta is a born and raised San Diegan. She grew up in East County and studied Business at San Diego State University. As as the Daughter of Ken, She has worked in the pool industry since she could talk. Katie’s main job position is Office manager, but she also works the Home Shows and the San Diego County Fair.
